Welcome to Breakaway Playschemes.

North Herts & Stevenage CVS (NH&SCVS) provides Breakaway playschemes offering stimulating play and quality care, tailored to meet the needs of children and young people aged 5-19 years old in Hertfordshire. Our short term respite service is for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.  

Holiday Club runs in Stevenage at Greenside School during the holidays (Easter/Summer/Christmas/Half Terms).

There are two monthly Saturday Clubs; one in Stevenage and one in Letchworth Garden City. These take place during term time only. 

To access any of our Breakaway Playscheme services, children and young people MUST be registered on the Hertfordshire County Council's Short Breaks Local Offer (SBLO) portal. 
 
If you are currently receiving any support from the Hertfordshire County Council 0-25 Together Service, please contact the Brokerage team on 01438 844254 to check eligibility. The Brokerage team will then advise on how to apply for a place at playscheme.
